ClubGRANTS program now open

EOI applications for the 2014-15 funding are now open for the ClubGRANTS Category 3 until Monday 15 September. This program is to assist groups to help build or upgrade community facilities and infrastructure.

This round is targeted to those groups who need some work done to their infrastructure facilities. This would include new buildings or improvements to existing buildings. 

Examples of eligible projects:

• Grandstands and other local sports ground facilities

• Indoor sports stadia

• Community skate parks or BMX courses

• Basketball, netball and tennis courts

• Children’s play areas

• Community gyms and sports clubs

• Cycleways within a public recreation area

• Art galleries

• Museums

• Libraries

• Local theatres

• Community art studios

• Music performance spaces

• Performing arts centre.

Who can apply? The applicant must be based in NSW and be a not-for-profit organisation, non-trading co-operative or not-for-profit body established by or under legislation (including Aboriginal Land Councils constituted under the Aboriginal Land Right Act 1983) and registered clubs within the meaning of the Registered Clubs Act 1976) that provide facilities and services for the use of the community and have the right, either by ownership or tenure, to use the land and/or facility for which the grant is being sought.

Successful Expression of Interest applicants will be invited to submit a full application.      

The Expression of Interest Form is available now at https://olgr.smartygrants.com.au/clubgrantsEOI2014 and must be lodged using the online form by no later than 5pm on Monday 15th September 2014. There will be no extension to this deadline.
