AUSTINMER COMMUTERS DESERVE ASSURANCES THAT TRIAL WILL BE INTRODUCED PERMANENTLY

The NSW Government introduced a train timetable in October 2013, which created parking nightmares for Thirroul and longer travel times for many commuters. They were forced to admit that the timetable wasn’t working and finally introduced a three month trial of adding a stop at Austinmer to a number of peak services.

LABOR MPs CALL FOR URGENT ACTION ON APPIN ROAD

NSW Shadow Minister for Illawarra Ryan Park and Member for Campbelltown Greg Warren are again urging the NSW Government to act immediately to address safety issues on Appin Road, following yet another fatality on the road overnight.

The pair emphasised the need for serious investment from the NSW Government towards safety upgrades for the road, particularly in the 10.2km stretch between Fitzgibbon Lane, Rosemeadow and the Appin.
